IT'S NOT EASY BEING STUBBORN
annamaemcphail | March 19, 2010 13:01

Isaiah 1:19
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

So much good awaits us from a surrender.

Let's deny ourselves take up our cross and follow Him.  Give up and let Jesus take over.

Mark 10:21
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

It will be a difficult life trying to fight God. It will be a difficult life trying to outwit God's instructions.

The only way to be blessed is to surrender...in total committment.

GOSSIP --SPEAKING GOSSIP OR LISTENING TO GOSSIP WHICH IS WORSE?
annamaemcphail | March 18, 2010 10:29

Job 15:1   The Message
[ Eliphaz Attacks Again ] [ You Trivialize Religion ] Eliphaz of Teman spoke a second time: "If you were truly wise, would you sound so much like a windbag, belching hot air?

Would you talk nonsense in the middle of a serious argument, babbling baloney? Look at you! You trivialize religion, turn spiritual conversation into empty gossip.

Proverbs 4:23 Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that's where life starts. Don't talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust.

Proverbs 16:27
Mean people spread mean gossip; their words smart and burn.
Prov 17:4 (the Message)4 Evil people relish malicious conversation;
the ears of liars itch for dirty gossip.

Some people pride themselves on not speaking any gossip...but their friends are gossipers and they listen, listen....listen to gossip.

Is speaking gossip and listening to gossip just as evil?

FROM ANNA MAE - everyone once in a while a topic makes people want to remark,

Paul Myers with his permission I include it said this about this subject.

 "

Hi Anna Mae...
I've noticed people who gossip, hang with people who gossip.
Gossipers are very popular people.
Its a waste, and a sin in God's eyes as the scripture you use indicate."
Kristen said
"I think that listening is just as bad, You are basicly saying that the gossip is ok and that you are agreeing with it."

Stand Still and See!!

Stand Still and See!!

Cave Withdrawal- 1 King 19:

Elijah had been discouraged with his inability to effect revival in God’s people and ended up in cave withdrawal.

Disappointed,  discouraged,   it leads to lost perspective.

The biggest release of condemnation came to me when I realized I am not responsible for results.  I must do my part and the blessed Holy Spirit does His part.

It's not my responsibility to heal or save people-- that's God business.  I am called on to believe and stand on His promises.

People come up to me all the time and say aren't you scared that God won't heal them?  I'm not scared of that at all.  I know God is able.  I'm doing my part...praying in faith and He will do His part.

I have to leave it in God's hands---

I don't have the power to do any good thing, but God does. God can change the hard hearted -in the church or the city or the nation of Canada.

My part is to pray "without ceasing".

My part is to declare His mighty power to all who will listen.

My part is to pray for righteous government in the land.  God is calling His people to pray for righteous men to govern.

We have alot of praying to do folks!!

Our role is to.. pray...believe, stand still...and see.

GOD GIVES ORDERS TO PUT THINGS IN ORDER
annamaemcphail | March 11, 2010 12:25
The lack of knowing the Word of God and obeying it is appalling in Churches today.

Ephesian 4

11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

• He gave some

Not everyone is an apostle or prophet or pastor, or evangelist.

Jesus was an apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist, teacher. Jesus was anointed with the fullness of anointing in all of these areas.

Jesus was an apostle. He had an apostolic anointing working in His life. He was sent to do the mission of God. He was a prophet he corrected thinking, and attitudes and told of things to come. Jesus was a great pastor he shepherded and in fact said “I am the good Shepherd.” Jesus was a great evangelist, people responded to his words and call. Jesus was a great teacher possibly the greatest teacher that ever walked on planet earth. They said of Him “never a man spake as this man.”

The Pastor is and remains God’s spiritual authority in the Church. Where ever we go we submit to the Pastor.

There is a spirit that is attacking churches by dividing it and undermining pastoral authority.

When gifts assumes that their "prophetic witness" or intercessions are the guiding light of the church, or when they stand apart from the church leader and offer a different vision than what the leadership presents, it is a spirit of division.

This spirit of division will attack the church leadership with discouragement, rebellion against God's order (scriptural order), and confusion with the ultimate purpose to disable the spiritual authority of pastoral leadership.

The Lord Himself honours the order He creates.

Consider: the Lord appeared to Paul, spoke to him, actually blinded him in His glory, and then said, "rise, and enter the city, and it shall be told you what you must do" (Acts 9:6). Why didn't the Lord just heal Paul? Why didn't He just tell Paul what he had to do? Paul would have to learn that, to reach God, he would have to submit to man. This is God's order and the Lord Himself honoured it. Paul had to hear about Jesus from Ananias.

Stay loyal to your Church by submitting to its leadership. Do not dishonour the leadership with gossip and dissension.

Pray the vision of your Pastor and in so doing you will help bring your church into the destiny of God.

Rev 2:26, 27 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

28And I will give him the morning star.

This spirit of division seeks to divide, diminish, and then displace the spiritual authority God has given church leaders.

THE VISION OF THE PASTOR –All of the church is to pray the vision of the Pastor. The Pastor is the "head of the household" (see Matt 24:45). The Pastor is a Shepherd, he protects the sheep, or the church and he leads.

WE MUST HAVE THE FIVE FOLD MINISTRY OPERATING –

In the Bible the apostles and prophets dealt primarily with divine order in the church and correction, setting things in order. It is our prayer that we go forward in the order that God wants us to go forward in and that the gifts given to the church function in the way the Lord intended them to. Church in our day, to experience life as it should, must have the five-fold ministry operating.

We want to have access to the apostolic anointing, and a prophetic anointing, and pastoral anointing, and the evangelists anointing and the teachers anointing. We pray that these five anointings will operate in the Church and when it does it will be a dynamic church of power. The end time church will be a church that demonstrates the supernatural power of God including the gifts and offices recorded in Ephesians 4 all working in unity.

God is a God of order; order precedes life and freedom. God's mind is ordered; His will is ordered and He gives "orders" to put things in order.

SIMPLE WAY TO PERSONAL REVIVAL IS OBEDIENCE--
annamaemcphail | March 10, 2010 19:06

The simple way to revival is through obedience.

Jesus said tarry ye and they did and the power fell.

Saul of Tarsus obeyed on the road to Damascus and was filled with the spirit after Ananias’ prayers.  The Spirit didn’t fall on Cornelius’ family until he obeyed God’s command to invite Peter.

Before a group of John the Baptist’s disciples in Ephesus received the Holy Spirit they believed the gospel of the Messiah Jesus and underwent baptism in His Name.

Let’s bring obedience to speed-up –the simple way to be revived and refreshed.

GOD NEVER DESIGNED YOU FOR FEAR---BUT FOR FAITH
annamaemcphail | March 04, 2010 13:59

18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear…

They say we are born with two fears -the fear of loud noises, and the fear of falling.

Approximately 7000 fears exist according to a recent survey which means...we learned at least 6698 fears..Lots of fear...out there. But God never designed us for fear but faith.

I'm constantly amazed by Christians who operate in fear..

fear of making decisions -which leads to procrastination
fear of new situations, fear of old situations,
fear of going into a church--
fear of going into a room.
fear of spending money
fear of getting disease and germs
fear of flying
fear of doctors
fear of singing in public, speaking in public.
fear of what others might say
fear of crowds

fear of the future

fear debilatates people...fear will cause you to live in a small world of never venturing out. People who are afraid...are not risk takers. And Jesus wants us to step out in faith, because He is a partner with us in our ventures.

When Adam sinned he immediately became afraid and hid himself. Gen 3:10

The realm of fear will cause you to think God is mad at you.

Good news ....their is a remedy for fear. The apostle John says that “perfect love casts out fear”. When you know that God so loves you that He gave His Son to take your beating so that you can take His blessings, you will stop fearing. When you fully access "the love factor" your whole perspective changes, joy flows into you, you smile for no reason, just because you know His love is mighty working in you.

God is a God of love and He loves you. “You are My beloved child, in you I am well pleased.”

His blessing and grace is bestowed on you. Don't fear any more. Everything good is coming your way.
